Mannesmann DMV Stainless renames into Salzgitter Mannesmann Stainless Tubes. Since the takeover of Mannesmannröhren-Werke by Salzgitter AG in 2000, the Tubes division has become one of the strongest units in the Group and is today responsible for a large proportion of its business volume. This successful integration of the traditional tube business into the Salzgitter Group will now be made more visible, both internally and externally, by the change of name. 
Salzgitter and Mannesmann both stand for top quality products and service for customers throughout the world. Their joint presence in the new company name will forge closer links between two of the most prominent industrial brands.
